My Afterlife Retirement Plan is a Complete Disaster

Bogdan Chekhovsky, the greatest magical strategist in the history of the Svardian Empire, had one simple goal: die and stay dead. After a lifetime of overwork, all he wanted was a permanent nap. He even left a perfect plan to ensure his legacy would protect the Empire so he could rest in peace. Centuries later, he wakes up in the body of his own profoundly lazy descendant, also named Bogdan, at a state funeral. The guest of honor? The infamous 'Witch of the Frostwood', Lady Anja Volkov, the woman blamed for a magical disaster that crippled Bogdan's new body. But as strange memories and directives from his past self begin to surface, Bogdan realizes his former self wasn't just a genius strategist, but also a master-level troll. He has been railroaded by his own ghost into a mission: prove Anja's innocence. Now, this apostle of apathy must unravel a conspiracy, defend the ice-cold woman who supposedly ruined his life, and manage a secret orphanage, all while desperately trying to get back to his nap. Can the laziest man in the Empire fulfill the ambitions of its most irritatingly proactive ghost?
