Lethal Devotion: Waking the Frost Weaver

In her past life, Danira was a brilliant but fiercely apathetic core-weaver who eloped with the silver-tongued Jelmeq, leaving her silent childhood guardian, Kassar, to face the executioner in her stead. When Jelmeq's grand ambitions ended with him drowning her in the Glacial Maw, she realized too late who truly had her back. Waking up in the middle of the Garrison's disciplinary tribunal where Kassar is about to be flogged for her crimes, Danira abandons her usual lazy demeanor. To the absolute shock of the bloodthirsty crowd - and the stoic, blushing Kassar - she boldly declares her boundless, fiery love for him to invoke an ancient trial by combat. Armed with explosive new weaving techniques, she resolves to aggressively pamper her bewildered friend and systematically dismantle Jelmeq’s faction so she can finally nap in peace. But as Danira’s fast-paced, ruthless retaliation escalates, she uncovers a devastating truth: Jelmeq’s betrayal was fueled by the agonizing enslavement of his hidden tribe. Will Danira's fierce path of platonic amends survive the murky morality of a desperate war?
