Joseph 'La Longue Vue': The Last Scout

Fourteen years after the Black Death devoured ninety-eight percent of Europe, the continent is a silent graveyard of rotting empires and prowling predators. Joseph, once the realm's greatest military scout known as 'La Longue Vue' for his peerless vision, wanders this wasteland as a ghost. His legendary eyes are a curse; they forever replay the night his faulty reconnaissance led his entire army into a brutal massacre. Drifting without purpose, his survival is a self-imposed purgatory. Everything changes when he rescues a silent child carrying a pristine map of a hidden, uninfected sanctuary. Hunted by the 'Iron Reapers' - a fanatical, plague-masked warband seeking to cleanse the remaining survivors - Joseph must weaponize his sight once more. To guide the child to safety, he must navigate ruined cities, outsmart ruthless warlords, and face the agonizing guilt that blinds his soul. In this dying world, his vision is the only light left, but his past is a shadow he cannot outrun.
