Glitch in the Prenup: Firing My Ex on Live Broadcast

I was so exhausted by my husband Jorik's delusions of grandeur that I finally snapped. In a shady underground data-broker's parlor, I struck a deal: I legally swapped my biometric identity as 'Mazra, meek housewife' with a rogue android who wanted to experience suburban ennui. Now I’m back to being myself - the trillionaire heiress of the Qen Syndicate. I also finally have time to resume my favorite hobbies: operating as the underground cyber-doctor who saves politicians, the undefeated corporate lawyer who ruins monopolies, and the anonymous composer writing the pop anthems Jorik listens to while crying at the gym. Unsurprisingly, without my secret background funding keeping it afloat, Jorik’s tech firm is instantly facing bankruptcy. Desperate, he decides to officially divorce his android 'wife' and woo the elusive Heiress Qen for a massive investment. It’s almost too easy. I’m going to buy his company, fire him on live television, and finally get some sleep. But why is Bastos Vex, my infuriatingly handsome corporate rival, suddenly trying to sabotage my perfectly petty revenge tour by proposing a merger?
