Framed by the Billionaire

I am standing at the hilariously melodramatic funeral of my boss's pet parrot when Darian Velez walks in and ruins my meticulously calculated life. Five years ago, after the devastating funeral of our mutual mentor, Darian and I shared a grief-stricken night of passion. I slipped away before dawn, convinced my cold, pragmatic nature would only break his heart. Now, Darian is a ruthless luxury-shipping magnate, and he just announced his acquisition of the chaotic antique framing shop where I work. My master plan to remain emotionally detached is failing spectacularly. Worse, my four-year-old son Tavio is a genius savant whose messy abstract canvases secretly sell for millions under a pseudonym. I’ve managed to keep Tavio hidden in the shop's supply closet through sheer tactical brilliance, feeding Darian deadpan lies about why I own pacifiers and why there are tiny, paint-covered footprints on his expensive shoes. But when Darian finally pieces the truth together, he doesn't sue. Instead, he blackmails me into moving into his penthouse, threatening to expose my son to the rabid art press. He claims it's just a tactical move to secure his heir, but why does he look at me like he's been starving for five years? And who is secretly sabotaging my son's gallery sales from the inside?
