Ein anderer Blick

Seok arrives at Ellington University, an enigma immediately captivating and alienating. Whispers follow him; some students laud his exotic appeal, while others treat him as a peculiar specimen, their thoughtless remarks cutting deep. His heart, scarred by past superficiality, braces for the inevitable. Then, he stumbles upon Tazaki in the quiet sanctuary of the library. Unlike the others, who reduce him to his Korean heritage or physical appearance, she sees past the surface, engaging him with genuine curiosity and a refreshing lack of pretense. Seok, shielded by cynical walls, initially dismisses her kindness as another performance. But Tazaki, drawn by an intuition she can't explain, finds him impossibly intriguing, a complex puzzle waiting to be understood.
