Crown Prince Island

One minute, I, Kata Barza, am flipping zsemle-burgers at a greasy roadside diner. The next, I wake up in a silk-sheeted nightmare palace, cameras in my face, surrounded by four infuriatingly handsome princes. According to some dusty old prophecy, I'm the 'Sun-Kissed Maiden,' fated to marry one of these royal pains and unite the fractured Kingdom of Almassia. They call it 'The Sovereign's Choice,' a glorified dating show where the prize is my hand in marriage. The princes - a brooding schemer, a charming warrior, a stoic scholar, and a carefree artist - see me as a commoner who tricked her way in and are dead set on sending me home. Fine by me. I’m just here to win the prize money they promised, start my own diner, and get back to my best friend, Szilard. But as I dodge assassination attempts disguised as 'romantic challenges' and start to see the men behind the titles, I uncover a conspiracy that goes far deeper than a rigged reality show. I thought this was a game to win a fortune, but what if the crown isn't the prize, but the target?
