Na Hwa Jin, a 32-year-old former commander, now serves as an inspector for a special agency under the Ministry of Education in 2026 Seoul. Two years prior, a student attack claimed his fiancée, a teacher, leaving him with an unyielding resolve to safeguard schools at all costs. His world is an austere canvas of regulations and vigilant oversight. Enter Selena, a spirited 21-year-old university student whose younger sibling attends a school under Hwa Jin's strict scrutiny. From their first encounter, she's captivated by his formidable presence, but her burgeoning affections are met with a chilling, almost cruel rejection.
