Chronicles of the Shattered Ether

In the floating, magic-infused archipelago of Aethelgard, sky-sailor Kaelen Vance searches for the legendary Sun-Core to heal his dying sister. His only tool is a forbidden pocketwatch that allows him to rewind time by exactly ten seconds, at the cost of consuming his own memories. But the sky is not empty. The Iron Inquisition, a ruthless magi-ocracy led by High Prelate Vane, hunts down 'time-thieves' to fuel their monolithic flying fortresses. When Kaelen accidentally rescues Lyra, a disgraced Inquisitor princess carrying a map to the world's edge, he is thrust into a deadly race. Caught between a sister he is slowly forgetting and a world unraveling at the seams, Kaelen must navigate treacherous sky-storms, betrayal, and his own crumbling mind. With every tick of the watch, the cost of survival grows heavier. To save his family, Kaelen must decide how much of his own soul he is willing to sacrifice to the relentless ether.
