Catch Me in the Glassworks

It started at the deathbed of my beloved mentor, where she handed me a sealed envelope written by... myself. Five years ago, I apparently wiped my own memories and left instructions to visit room 402 at the Grand Chimera Hotel. But thanks to a damaged brass door plaque, I walked right into room 404 - and into a wildly passionate night with Rhenzo Ghaleri, the terrifyingly powerful Master of the Sun-Forge. Panicking at dawn, I fled, leaving behind my only clue: a custom-made storm-glass pendant. Now, heavily disguised with thick glasses and dyed hair, I'm working as a clumsy junior intern in his very own guild to lay low. Rhenzo is aggressively tearing the city apart to find the woman who abandoned him, completely unaware that his hot-tempered, fiercely loyal intern is the runaway he's obsessed with. Despite his ruthless reputation, our daily workplace banter is surprisingly sweet, and I'm accidentally falling for him. But the cat-and-mouse game is growing dangerous. What happens when a slip of my oversized collar reveals the distinct star-shaped burn on my shoulder - the exact mark he memorized in the dark?
