Canvas of Lies: The Mountain Heir's Masterpiece

Maelo grew up tending sheep on the terraced farms of Mount Soriano, far from the glittering galas of the Estevant family's art-auction empire. His quiet life shatters when a routine hospital visit for a minor farming injury triggers a medical database match, proving he is the long-lost billionaire son of the Estevant Syndicate chairman. Dragged into the ruthless high society of Mercadia, Maelo is scorned as an uncultured bumpkin by the elites and the golden fake heir, Florian. But Maelo possesses a hidden talent: a flawless, savant-like ability to detect art forgeries, honed by years of studying and restoring forgotten paintings in his mountain barn. As he stubbornly invalidates the prized collections of the snobs who mock him, he finds an unexpected ally in Noemi, a cynical rival heiress who slowly falls for his gentle sincerity. But as Maelo prepares to expose Florian's ultimate counterfeit masterpiece, he uncovers a terrifying secret: his most trusted mentor in the city is the very person who orchestrated his disappearance. Can the shy farm boy outmaneuver the mastermind who controls the art world's shadows?
