Lena Katina, a bright-eyed seventh grader, finds her world irrevocably fractured when her inseparable best friend, Julia Volkova, inexplicably pulls away. As Lena grapples with unspoken feelings blooming into a painful crush, Julia retreats into a new, cooler clique, leaving Lena ostracized and heartbroken. The simmering tension between them boils over during a tense hallway confrontation, catching the attention of a strict teacher. Their punishment: a joint after-school cleaning duty. Trapped within the confines of a dusty classroom, Lena finally confronts Julia, her suppressed emotions erupting in a raw, scathing confession. This isn't just a teenage spat; it's a battle for a bond, a desperate plea for recognition, and a brutal reckoning with betrayal. The quiet classroom transforms into an arena where words become weapons, threatening to sever their connection forever, or perhaps, forge it anew through fire.
