Annie and Charlie

Annie, a gentle and imaginative ranch girl in the quiet valley of Angel Falls, finds her mundane life shattered when she discovers she can converse with her father's oldest, most cantankerous mare, Charlie. But Charlie isn't just a talking horse; she's a former warrior steed, burdened with ancient secrets and a desperate mission to save their world from a creeping blight. As the vibrant flora of Angel Falls begins to wither and animals fall silent, Annie must reconcile her sheltered existence with the terrifying reality that only she, guided by Charlie's cynical wisdom, can venture beyond the ranch and confront the malevolent force draining the life from her home. Their bond, initially one of reluctant allies, will be tested against encroaching shadows and the weight of a world teetering on the brink.
