A Symmetry of Ghosts

I wear my twin sister’s face to her funeral. Everyone sees Klara, the brilliant architect, mourned and celebrated. They don’t see me, Renia, the ghost haunting her life, the investigator who has taken her place. My target is Teodor Beren, the magnate who commissioned Klara’s final project - the Berenovo Atheneum - and the man I am certain orchestrated her 'accidental' death. To find the proof, I must become Klara, inheriting her apartment, her friends, and her magnum opus. I must work side-by-side with the man I despise, finishing the building she designed while secretly excavating his life for the evidence that will bury him. He sees a grieving artist he can manipulate; I see a murderer. But as I walk the halls of our shared past and the skeletal framework of the Atheneum, I realize Klara left me clues within the blueprints themselves, a language only we understood. Is this a map to justice, or a trap she laid for us both?
