A Stillness of Stained Glass

Katarzyna Voronova, a brilliant stained-glass restorer with a fiery spirit, loved two things with fierce loyalty: her art and her husband, Grigoriy. Her devotion was repaid with a mangled car wreck and a cold, lonely death. Reborn three years in the past, Katarzyna finds herself trapped in the gilded cage of her marriage, the memory of her murder a shard of glass in her heart. She decides to play the part he always wanted: the docile, oblivious wife. Beneath this fragile facade, she meticulously pieces together the evidence of his human trafficking empire, her every gentle touch a lie, her every smile a promise of ruin. Helping her is Milos Novikov, a genius detective haunted by the 'Shadow Collector,' a phantom killer who leaves behind only a single, cryptic symbol. As Katarzyna gets closer to destroying Grigoriy and Milos closes in on his phantom, their separate investigations begin to refract and overlap in disturbing ways, revealing that the monster they each hunt might just be two facets of the same man. Can Katarzyna shatter her gilded cage before the past fractures her completely?
