A Hunger So Vicious

Opening in a dimly lit, rain-lashed office, Saskia Radic strikes a devil’s bargain. To rip custody of her little brother from her sadistic uncle, she agrees to a three-year contract marriage with her terrifying employer, Kazimir Ozerov. Kazimir is a ruthless billionaire who hasn't slept or eaten a full meal in years, paralyzed by the trauma of a past betrayal. But Saskia is utterly shameless, and her exceptional culinary skills become the only thing that can coax the beast to eat and rest. Their arrangement has strict boundaries, until Ostrom's violent thunderstorms reduce the cold boss to a trembling mess who demands her presence in his bed. As accidental touches - zipping a dress, sharing a blanket - turn into suffocating tension, Kazimir's indifference fractures into a fierce, irrational jealousy. Meanwhile, a deadly string of syndicate poisonings sweeps the city. When a sudden, brutal fever brings Saskia to the brink of death, Kazimir panics, breaking his own ironclad rules to save her. But his frantic realization of his feelings uncovers a horrifying twist: the custody battle and the shadowy assassin hunting Kazimir are orchestrated by the exact same mastermind. Can Saskia survive the man she was unknowingly sent to destroy?
