In 2012 Miyagi, Yuki Hinata, the perpetually shy twin sister of the boisterous Shouyou, has always dwelled in his shadow, often mistaken for a boy. A lifetime of being overlooked, coupled with recent, crushing tragedies, fuels a burning desire within her to finally forge her own identity. When a mysterious, almost supernatural affinity for volleyball - an uncanny ability to predict plays and enhance her teammates' performance - manifests, Yuki sees her chance. But this gift comes with a steep price, hinting at a hidden darkness within the sport itself, pushing her against a looming force threatening to shatter the very spirit of the game she's come to love. Can Yuki step out of the shadows, not just of her brother, but of a world on the brink of losing its passion?
