The Newt Age
By @Book Fanfic
Maléfi Beast, a nascent witch with a shadowy lineage linked to a cursed sleeping spell, finds herself an outcast in the gleaming spires of Auradon. While others celebrate their fairytale endings, Maléfi grapples with uncontrollable magic and a gnawing fear of mirroring her infamous ancestor's villainy. When an ancient, creeping blight begins to steal the joy and vibrant colors from Auradon's storybook lands, suspicion falls heavily on her. Maléfi must master her volatile powers and navigate the treacherous court intrigues to prove her innocence. But the blight isn't just a natural disaster; it's a sentient hunger, twisting the very fabric of happy endings into despair, and Maléfi's unique magic might be the only thing capable of feeding it - or stopping it. Can she rewrite her own destiny without succumbing to the darkness she so desperately fears?
