The Chronicles of Aethelred
By @Fatima
Elara, a young peasant girl orphaned by plague, stumbles upon an ancient, sentient loom within a forgotten crypt. This 'Loom of Fates' doesn't just weave fabric; it subtly alters the threads of history with each pattern spun, granting her an unprecedented power over the past. Her world, 9th-century Anglo-Saxon England, is a brutal tapestry of Viking raids and warring kingdoms, with the shadow of Ragnar Lothbrok's sons looming large. Driven by the devastating loss of her family and the constant threat to her village, Elara must learn to wield this dangerous gift. One miswoven thread could unravel not just her life, but the very fabric of England's future, forcing her to confront the moral cost of rewriting history to save what she loves. Can one girl, armed with an impossible power, truly change the course of destiny, or is she merely weaving a new form of destruction?
