The Weaver's Gentle Hand
By @john1208
When the 'Dissolution' shattered reality, Kiko Alon was branded with the System's most pathetic skill: [Lesser Appraisal]. While S-ranked hunters wielded celestial fire, Kiko could only see the status of a rusty spoon. Humiliated and cast out, his only goal is to survive the deadly 'Sanctuaries' - game-like instances humanity is forced to clear - to earn enough medicine for his sick little sister, Tala. But the monsters within are immune to all attacks, shrouded in an untouchable miasma. During a desperate attempt to save his team, Kiko discovers his Appraisal skill doesn't just read information - it can gently 'cleanse' it. By wiping away the miasma, he can render the unkillable horrors vulnerable. Suddenly, the laughingstock of the apocalypse becomes its most valuable asset. Now, hunted by guilds who want his power and shadowed by a ruthless rival, Kiko must unravel the secret behind the monsters' curse. Can a man armed with nothing but a gentle touch protect his family from a system designed to break them?
