Labios rotos
By @Karim Ruiz
In the fractured, crystalline world of Jsjsj, words possess physical weight, and a single broken promise can shatter a person's soul. Kari, a silent wanderer with scarred, silent lips, possesses the dangerous Kskskskskak - the volatile power to manifest physical weapons from the echoes of broken oaths. Haunted by the night her silence cost her family their lives, Kari survives on the harsh fringes of Jolaaa, a sprawling, neon-drenched desert metropolis governed by the tyrannical Word-Smiths. When an ancient, forbidden vow begins huming within her blood, Kari is thrust into a deadly race to uncover the truth of the world's creation. To survive, she must ally with the very rebels she distrusts and learn to wield her devastating power. But as the Word-Smiths hunt her down, Kari must choose between the safety of her quiet isolation and the agonizing pain of speaking her truth to save a dying world.
