Chronicles of Joy's Premature Reign
By @Dylan
In the shadow-draped medieval kingdom of Veridian, where arcane power is measured by the length of one's magical discharge, stands 乔伊 (Joy), a young man cursed with a most inconvenient truth: his spells, though potent, climax almost before they begin. This premature release of power brands him a laughingstock, an outcast in a society that reveres sustained magical prowess. Yet, a creeping blight, the 'Withering Bloom,' threatens Veridian, draining its life force and accelerating the decay of all magic. To save his home, Joy must learn to harness his 'flaw,' to find an advantage in his rapid bursts, or watch his world, and his chance at acceptance, crumble to dust. Can a 'premature' mage become Veridian's unlikely savior?
