Vengeance of the Rust-Born
By @john1208
Ryzalia Morcrest’s biological family had a convenient excuse for hiding her existence: raised in the lawless Rust-Steppes, she was too loud, too unrefined, and lacked the delicate manners of the Previan elite. They vastly preferred her older brother Kylian, a supposedly flawless genius whose groundbreaking Kinetic-Weave inventions brought the family unprecedented wealth. But Kylian’s brilliance is a lie built entirely on Ryzalia’s stolen scrap-tech designs. When a hot-tempered Ryzalia crashes Kylian’s lavish engagement party to demand what is hers, she is shoved into the dirt - until Voldir Hext, the ruthless, untouchable billionaire of the Zenith District, steps out of his dreadnought. He ignores the groveling Morcrest family and bows only to her. Swept into a world of cutthroat opulence, Ryzalia teams up with her infuriating aristocratic rival, Isken, to systematically dismantle her family’s legacy with cold, calculated precision. As she sets a trap to expose Kylian on live television, a shocking truth emerges. The mysterious saboteur Voldir has been hunting for a decade and the brother who stole Ryzalia's blueprints are the exact same person. Will her fiery thirst for vengeance cost her the only true family she's ever found?
