In a dying world scarred by colossal 'Xenobeast' incursions, humanity clings to existence within fortified cities. Kael, a discarded orphan haunted by the memory of his family's annihilation, possesses a unique psychic resonance. He's an 'Ender,' capable of forming a symbiotic link with the rare, bio-mechanical war machines known as Sentinels. But Kael's assigned Sentinel, 'Unit Zero,' is an unstable, legendary relic, whispered to be cursed. As Xenobeast attacks intensify, threatening to breach the last bastions of civilization, Kael must tame Unit Zero's volatile power. Yet, with each successful defense, a terrifying truth emerges: the Sentinels might be more than just machines, and their true purpose could doom humanity more certainly than any monster.
