Into Frostvile Fortress
By @Anna Nollinc
In the frozen, unforgiving wastes of Sannahed’s Icewind Dale, survival demands absolute perfection. Then there is Clara. Armed with a cheerful smile and a legendary level of clumsiness, she accidentally triggers every trap she encounters, yet somehow emerges unscathed. Driven by a desperate need to prove she isn't the useless burden her deceased family claimed she was, Clara marches toward the forbidding Frostvile Fortress. Her path collides with Jaxon, a surly, hyper-calculating young mage who views her chaotic energy as a death sentence. But Frostvile is no ordinary ruin; it is a shifting, icy labyrinth of ancient magic that reacts to intent. As Jaxon’s precise spells fail against the fortress's erratic defense systems, Clara’s unpredictable, bumbling movements inadvertently bypass lethal wards. Together, this mismatched duo must penetrate the fortress's frozen heart, but Clara’s pathological need to please others and her fear of abandonment might just walk them straight into a deadly, waiting trap.
