In the soot-choked, gas-lit alleys of Terror World, a horrific realm echoing the late-Victorian industrial age, death does not grant peace; it merely feasts. Ren Dover, a man cursed with a chillingly detached psyche, is dragged into this nightmare where every shadow hides a biological horror waiting to devour him. Yet, Ren possesses a terrifying cosmic anomaly: when he is brutally slaughtered, he resets to his previous checkpoint, carving away a piece of his killer's soul to mimic their supernatural Sequence abilities. To survive this meat-grinder, Ren must willingly throw himself into the jaws of monstrosities, dying a thousand agonizing deaths just to compile an arsenal of stolen mutations. As he climbs the blasphemous Sequences of power, he discovers his own family's bloodline is intrinsically tied to the very rot consuming this world. Every resurrection chips away at his remaining humanity, turning him into the very monster he is trying to escape.
