The last lighthouse
By @Kayla Springer
Eli, a man shrouded in a mysterious aura, lives a solitary life as the last lighthouse keeper, his only companion the vast, unforgiving ocean. His peculiar gift for fishing allows him to pull impossible catches from the deepest abysses, a skill he mostly uses to survive. One stormy evening, a treacherous current reveals a hidden, glowing cave near his isolated lighthouse, drawing him into its depths. Inside, he uncovers an ancient mechanism tied directly to the lighthouse's true purpose: it's not just a guide for ships, but a vital seal, holding back an encroaching, abyssal darkness threatening to consume the world's light and sanity. Eli, initially reluctant and solitary, must now embrace his destiny and confront the encroaching cosmic horror, lest the last beacon of hope extinguishes forever. His unique fishing ability becomes his primary tool, not just for survival, but for battling the ancient, watery entities emerging from the deep. The fate of the world rests on his lonely shoulders and his mysterious connection to the sea.
