Toothbrush
By @Autumn Marshall
Autumn is an ordinary, hyper-organized dental hygiene student whose life is ruled by strict routines, color-coded schedules, and a desperate need for control. Her carefully manicured world is completely shattered when she discovers Jumbo, a sentient, five-foot-tall, neon-blue toothbrush standing in her shower. Jumbo is cheerful, utterly chaotic, and possesses a bizarre localized reality-warping ability geared entirely toward ridiculous pranks. This giant brush can teleport into impossible places, squeeze whole tubes of paste onto the ceiling, and replace the showerhead water with mouthwash. Autumn tries to lock Jumbo away, but he always reappears in increasingly absurd situations. Soon, the living toothbrush's antics threaten to ruin Autumn’s academic career, her sanity, and her secret crush's opinion of her. To survive, Autumn must learn to loosen her grip on life, or risk being completely swept away in a tidal wave of minty, blue-bristled mayhem that defies all physical laws.
