The Sky-Forge Sovereign
By @john1208
I spent three years in secret isolation coughing up my lungs from Aether-Rot, only to return and find myself in a high-speed chase with rabid paparazzi. Sprinting to outrun the journalists, I crashed directly into the grand opening of Javant's new shipyard, where I found my supposed true love clutching a weeping, discount-version of me. His excuse? 'I thought you were never coming back.' My reaction? I didn't shed a single tear. I simply dropped the royal manufacturing decree that made me the majority shareholder of his entire operation. Now I'm his boss, and while he begs on his knees in the rain for a second chance, I'm far too busy optimizing hull aerodynamics to even look out the window. My only goal is to win the Sovereign's Regalia and build the ultimate sky-fleet. But my sweet, wise mentor Guru Vangis has been helping me win for a terrible reason. The grand prize isn't a crown - it's a metaphysical anchor that will chain my soul to the sinking capital. Can I engineer my way out of a city-crushing trap before my own ambition entombs me?
