When Vandro, the world's arrogant Chosen One, barges in to claim his stolen destiny, he steps on a glitched floorboard Soraio accidentally exposed, clipping out of reality and dying instantly. Suddenly, the System dumps the apocalyptic Main Quest squarely onto Soraio's slumped shoulders. Too lazy to fight, Soraio uses speedrun tactics to bypass the grind, famously clipping through walls with a teacup to share a cozy lunch with Ophyra, the misunderstood final boss.
Told in alternating perspectives between Soraio and his loyal best friend Nirna - who harbors a bittersweet, unspoken love and a terrifying secret about the game's code - the story is a heartwarming rebellion against fate. But the System’s life-extending quest rewards are secretly erasing Soraio's humanity to turn him into a replacement NPC. Can a sleepy genius outsmart a rigged salvation before his soul is completely overwritten?
