Sowing Shattered Swords
By @john1208
I was running out of breath and blood when the Jianxiao Ascendancy’s hounds finally cornered me in the Weeping Bamboo Forest. They thought I was just a crippled, failed sword disciple, violently discarded by the ruthless Elder Kuang Yu. They didn't expect the soil beneath their boots to erupt with Spine-Weeping Orchids that tore them limb from limb. I traded my broken sword for a cultivator’s hoe, embracing the Dao of Farming. Now, my fields grow Iron-Vein Lotuses that deflect divine strikes, and when Kuang Yu unleashed his legendary Thunder-Scaled Manticore to hunt me, my simple paper crane - folded from a single spiritual leaf - effortlessly outflew the beast, mocking its speed before severing its wings. My revenge is cold, calculated, and blooming beautifully. But Grandmaster Ouyang Mo, the supposedly benevolent elder who guided me to this unorthodox path, has been smiling a little too warmly at my progress. Every time my botanical army slaughters an arrogant traditionalist, the system rewards me with heavenly fertilizer, but my own meridians twist further into roots. Will I dismantle the arrogant heavens before I become the final harvest myself?
