The Sunstone Healer's Prescription
By @john1208
Dr. Anisa Sharma, a brilliant surgeon, dies on an operating table in modern-day Mumbai, only to awaken in the body of Lady Zafira of the Oakhaven Protectorate. Now a political hostage in the arid, sun-baked Tassilian Empire, Zafira is weak, ignored, and destined for a quiet death. But Anisa's mind is anything but weak. Armed with centuries of medical advancement, she begins small, introducing the radical concept of 'soap' to the unhygienic imperial court. Her innovations - and the lucrative business they create - capture the attention of the wise Prince Regent, Kazim al'Tassil. As he becomes fascinated by her sharp intellect and compassionate spirit, a tender romance blossoms. With his support, she begins tackling the empire’s greatest challenge: the mysterious 'Wasting Sickness' that has baffled physicians for generations. Yet, as she gets closer to a cure, a shadow conspiracy tightens its grip. Can she save the people she has come to love when the true source of the disease is the one person she trusts the most?
