RAN AND SNSH
By @Nawfal Sarhan
In the alternate, Japanese-inspired realm of Iraq, spiritual energy is not channeled through swords, but through the rigorous laws of historical research. Emilia, a gentle-hearted scholar, wants nothing more than to preserve her land's fading memory. But when she accidentally uncovers a forbidden manuscript, she is thrust into a lethal academic war. Her unique 'Researcher' ability allows her to manifest the physical properties of ancient text, but her gentle nature is a liability in a world of cutthroat historians. As elite academic factions seek to rewrite history and erase her homeland's heritage, Emilia must weaponize her intellect to survive. If she fails, the memory of her ancestors will be completely deleted from reality. To save her future, this pacifist scholar must learn to fight dirty, decoding dangerous secrets while keeping her own soul from being corrupted by the very forbidden knowledge she wields.
