Venom in the Viewfinder
By @john1208
The flashbulbs of her high-society engagement announcement trigger Nivara Lenth's sudden awakening. One second she was bleeding out on the cold floor of Kastellon Ward - framed for her fiancé’s illegal wiretaps and murdered in prison to tie up loose ends - and the next, she is smiling for the cameras next to the man who orchestrated her demise. Masking her shock behind a quietly ruthless demeanor, Nivara immediately shifts gears. She seeks out Bramen Krell, a cold-hearted litigation attorney known for ruining lives, who has long been her fiercest boardroom nemesis. Together, they orchestrate a flawless, step-by-step destruction of her abusers. Their trap is perfect: funneling the mistress’s stolen millions into a rigged underground casino, while legally acquiring a majority stake in her fiancé's media empire to fire him on a live global broadcast. But told in alternating third-person perspectives between the two former rivals, a terrifying truth emerges. The temporal shift was not a miracle, but an experimental anomaly causing rapid cellular degradation. Nivara is dying, burdened with a fatal time limit nobody mentioned. Can she and Bramen finalize the ultimate ruin of her enemies before her borrowed time runs out?
