He confronts a steadfast, duty-bound cadet, their debate revealing Cassian's grim predictions for the empire. Months later, as the capital succumbs to predicted turmoil and the Red Caesar's dominion falters, the cadet finds himself irrevocably drawn to Cassian's chillingly accurate wisdom, his unexpected courage amidst the chaos, and his enigmatic charm. With the kingdom on the precipice, their burgeoning connection becomes a fragile spark in a world consumed by fire and betrayal.
