Scrap-Metal Sovereign
By @john1208
I was bleeding out on the asphalt of Oshkadar, using my own body to shield a stranger from a tutorial-spawned mechanical hound, when the prompt appeared. It wasn't the System. It was a recorded message from *me*. "If you're seeing this, my memory wipe worked. You're soft. You're kind. And you have exactly three seconds to say 'Override'." When the multiverse integrated Earth into its deadly tutorial, it wasn't a random tragedy. My past self - a betrayed multiversal tyrant - pulled Earth into the meat-grinder specifically to trap the Pantheon of gods who murdered him. To execute this cold, centuries-in-the-making revenge, he left me a unique gift: the power to resurrect both flesh and ruined machinery as loyal cyber-undead. Now, I’m a healer forced to play the role of a ruthless mastermind. My first summon is a fallen angel whose shattered wings I rebuilt with drone scrap. As my mechanized horde grows, and slaughtered war gods bow to me as their supreme tactician, I have to wonder: can I save what's left of humanity without becoming the monster I used to be?
