Fragments of the Storm
By @Jestoni Nadayag
Ten years ago, a reckless Garrett Blackwood's world shattered when an heirloom gem exploded, leaving him a paralyzed husk. Now, a decade later, he awakens to find his noble house reduced to rubble and his family's honor in tatters. Fueled by a burning, decade-long thirst for vengeance, the gentle Garrett discovers a chilling new talent: the ability to conjure and command clouds and steam. With this nascent power, he must navigate the treacherous, religion-dominated world of Veridian, where divine powers dictate the fate of nations. Garrett's quest isn't just for revenge; it's a desperate fight to reclaim what was stolen and expose the dark forces that brought his house to ruin, even if it means challenging the very gods themselves. He will either rise as a storm or be consumed by its fragments.
