The Quantum Weaver of Marvel 616
By @Anhrez
Caleb Thorne, a disillusioned quantum physicist, is thrust into Marvel 616 mere months before Tony Stark unveils his Arc Reactor. Stranded in a world of burgeoning heroes and hidden threats, Caleb discovers his 'cheat': the ability to manipulate quantum probabilities. He can subtly nudge events, alter outcomes, and even 'borrow' minute amounts of cosmic energy, but every alteration risks unforeseen ripple effects. His deepest desire is to prevent the tragedies he knows are coming, especially the loss of innocents he feels responsible for from his previous life. However, his attempts to discreetly avert disasters constantly put him on the radar of SHIELD, Hydra, and forces far grander than he comprehends. Can one man, armed with the power to rewrite fate, navigate a world destined for chaos without becoming its ultimate undoing, or will his quiet interventions only accelerate the cataclysm he fears?
