Fist of Antiquity
By @john1208
Bao Quan, the Unbroken Fist of the Azure Firmament, was a being of immense power, capable of sundering peaks with a single blow. At the apex of his ascension, a trusted ally's betrayal cast him through the void, stripping him of his cultivation and stranding him in the bewildering world of 21st-century Hong Kong. Reborn into the body of a meek heir moments before his arranged engagement, Bao Quan finds himself powerless, a 'fish out of water' in a realm of steel towers and scientific principles that defy his understanding. He discovers that the world is not entirely mundane; faint spiritual energy, the 'Qi of Ages,' lingers within ancient artifacts. To rebuild his strength, he must master this new energy source and leverage his old alchemical knowledge to create revolutionary products, drawing the predatory attention of ruthless tech corporations. As he battles corporate spies and modern assassins, Bao Quan realizes his exile was no random act of betrayal, but the final move in a cosmic game he himself set in motion. Can he reclaim his power and uncover the truth of his past before this new world is consumed by a conflict he unknowingly created?
