I Napped During the Exam and Became the Mogul's Muse
By @john1208
Myrren Kest just wanted a nap. For years, her family literally forgot she existed, too busy managing the meteoric rise of her sister Syla - a reincarnator who uses future knowledge to dominate the magical theatrical scene. Dragged to the deadly Apex Conservatoire exams as Syla's luggage carrier, Myrren decides to purposefully fail the practical test. Believing the eliminated are deported to the peaceful, isolated Reject Wastes, she curls up on the pressure-sensitive runic stage and goes to sleep. But when she wakes up, she isn't in the slums. She is in a floating spun-glass penthouse, being fed crystal-grapes by mechanical cherubs. Myrren misunderstood the rules entirely: the exam was a secret screening by Rethian Vor, the terrifying mogul of Veloria’s largest studio, who was searching for someone capable of bypassing his unbreakable illusion matrix. By doing absolutely nothing, she solved the hardest puzzle. Now, Rethian is smitten, showering his lazy new muse with relentless luxury. Meanwhile, her family realizes their massive mistake when Rethian casually outbids them for the legendary Aura-Loom just to give Myrren a comfortable hammock. Will Myrren ever get her peaceful nap, or is true love the most exhausting work of all?
