Side Effects May Include Dimensional Stalking
By @john1208
Vondris operates on pure, unfeeling logic. When a multidimensional courier drops a glowing vial of medicine on her doorstep with a cryptic, poorly translated note, she immediately calculates the highest return on investment. The target? Rhozal, her infuriatingly smug former mercenary rival who was recently enslaved, poisoned, and left for dead by the realm's arrogant Chosen Ones. By shoving the hoarded cure down his throat, Vondris plans to use his inevitable gratitude to bankrupt the 'Heroes' and earn enough System points to jump to a peaceful retirement dimension. But Vondris made one crucial miscalculation: she skimmed the System's Terms of Service. Providing the cure didn't just clear her quest log - it legally registered the terrifying beastman as her soul-bound dependent. Now, every time she elegantly teleports to a new dimension to execute a flawless, stealthy fix-it scheme, a massively overpowered, dangerously affectionate scaled-leopard beastman crashes through the space-time continuum to eagerly destroy her enemies. Can a cold-hearted pragmatist survive the multiverse when her greatest rival is now her heavily armed, inescapable shadow?
