Weaponizing the Discarded
By @john1208
Talasi wakes up suspended upside-down in a screaming hourglass of temporal sand, only to crash-land in a freezing woodshed next to Ziryan - a sickly, crippled prodigy whose life force was drained by the world's 'heroes' to cure a pet bird. Before she can even dust herself off, her infuriating inter-dimensional rival, Vakhsh, crashes through the roof to claim the rescue mission for himself. Thus begins a deeply petty, dimension-hopping competition told from both their perspectives. Instead of coddling the broken second leads, Talasi adopts a quietly ruthless approach: she hands them the forbidden knowledge to tear their oppressors apart. As the oblivious original protagonists sing songs of friendship while their sects burn to the ground, Talasi and Vakhsh realize their targets aren't just getting revenge. Across the multiverse, these healed geniuses are constructing an interconnected empire of blood and steel, solely to lay it at Talasi's feet. But who actually programmed this chaotic transmigration cycle, and why does the system's sarcastic voice sound exactly like Talasi's own?
