Pruning the Heavens: The Demonic Groundskeeper's Apprentice
By @john1208
Kuang Zongyi used to be the Blood-Bramble Sovereign, an apocalyptic tyrant who nearly strangled the cultivation world before retiring out of sheer boredom to clip hedges at the Azure-Terrace Pavilion. When the sect elders humiliate Luo Jinxi - a girl cursed with stagnant, rock-hard meridians - and dump her on the groundskeeping staff, Zongyi sees a fascinating botanical challenge rather than a martial arts student. Applying his ruthless gardening techniques, he aggressively 'prunes' her blocked spiritual veins with rusty shears, throws her into extreme weather to 'force a winter bloom,' and feeds her toxic beast-bone fertilizer. To the sect's horror, this botanical abuse works flawlessly. Jinxi rises shockingly fast, tearing through the Thousand-Summit Selections by literally taking root in the arena and draining her elite opponents' Qi like a parasitic vine. But as her fighting style becomes increasingly, terrifyingly familiar to the elder generation, the cultivation world begins to ask a dreadful question: who exactly is the grumpy landscaper standing in her corner, and what happens when his prize flower fully blooms?
