Chronicles of the Quantum Nest
By @Niklas Timonen
Orphaned and burdened with impossible responsibilities, 12-year-old Aada maintains a fragile normalcy in her cramped, temporal-displaced apartment. Her siblings, 10-year-old Niilo, a brilliant but anxious tech prodigy, and 8-year-old Aatu, whose innocent desire for freedom manifests in a peculiar aversion to clothes, depend entirely on her. Aada secretly wields a fragmented Chronos-Shard, a relic allowing her to manipulate micro-timelines within their home, patching together their existence from the fabric of discarded moments. But the quantum fluctuations caused by her desperate temporal fixes are attracting unwanted attention from the Chronos Enforcers, a ruthless temporal agency. When Aatu's increasingly erratic temporal 'stutter-steps' threaten to unravel their delicate sanctuary, Aada must master her chaotic power before her family is erased from existence, or worse, weaponized by those who seek to control time itself.
