Wrecking the Boss
By @john1208
Tazia Varon is a woman of logic. So when she accidentally crushes the custom hypercar of Mateo Zantino - the city’s most unhinged mafia boss and her long-time neighborhood rival - she calmly stands in the smoking wreckage and strikes a deal: a temporary marriage to settle the multi-million dollar debt and protect her younger brother. Tazia treats the heavily fortified Zantino compound like a poorly managed hotel, routinely hacking the fifty-million-dollar security grid and slipping past fifty armed guards just to sneak out for pistachio gelato.
Instead of punishing her, Mateo is utterly captivated. The ruthless kingpin finds his wife's deadpan disrespect intoxicating, happily burning down rival gang safehouses just to ensure she can eat her ice cream in peace. But there is a hidden clause in their contract neither discussed: Mateo’s treacherous right-hand man is orchestrating a coup set to trigger in exactly thirty days. If Tazia doesn't willingly claim her place as the true Donna before the unmentioned time limit expires, the entire syndicate will turn on them. Can a hyper-calculating civilian and an overly devoted mobster survive a hostile takeover?
