Life
By @Tshiamo Machete
Gally, a cynical twenty-something, thought her life was going nowhere as she scratched a persistent itch on her lower back. But that itch was a nascent tattoo, a living sigil that pulsed with untold power, slowly embedding itself into her very being. Now, mundane New York City alleys hum with a forgotten magic, and shadows lengthen with monstrous entities lurking just beyond perception. Gally's mundane existence shatters as she's thrust into a clandestine war for the soul of the city, forced to master her evolving abilities or watch the concrete jungle she calls home crumble. Can she overcome her deep-seated apathy to protect a world she never truly cared for?
