The Resonance of Falling Petals
By @john1208
Fleeing through the monsoon-drenched jungles of Sapta-Giri, Kavindra fully expects to die. He is merely an eccentric flautist, obsessed with the beauty of rain on lotus leaves, currently being hunted by the iron-fisted disciples of the Marut Sect. Cornered, he plays a gentle, mourning lullaby on his bamboo flute - only to watch in horror and awe as the melody turns the very wind into crystalline blades, shattering his pursuers' grand magical formation in an instant. Thus begins Kavindra’s accidental rise. He soon finds refuge and a slow-blooming, tender romance with Ishani, a stoic swordswoman harboring a fractured soul. But Kavindra’s miraculous Dao of Melody holds a cruel secret the ancient scrolls omitted: manipulating reality with music consumes the player's lifespan. With a fiery body-refining tyrant marching to destroy their sanctuary, Kavindra must master the ultimate symphony to save the woman he loves. Will his final masterpiece bring salvation, or will the song end before they can share a future?
