A Venomous Legacy
By @john1208
I was Zariya Rostova, the phantom of the Apex Circuit, a driver whose name was whispered with fear and respect. Then came the crash, the scandal, and the accusation that I'd sold out my team, ruining the legendary House Volkov in a single fiery wreck. Now I’m a pariah, left with nothing but a secret I'd die to protect. Five years later, a cryptic delivery arrives: a single, scorched racing glove and an ultimatum from the new Volkov patriarch, Dante. He offers me an impossible deal - drive for his team, under his complete control, or be exposed for a crime I didn't commit. He wants to break me on the track, in front of the world that once adored me. He thinks I’m a corporate spy, a traitor. He doesn't know the truth: that one reckless night we shared left me with more than just memories. He's determined to destroy the mother of his own child, and I'm forced to play his game, praying he never uncovers the secret that would shatter us both. How long can I protect my son when every race brings me closer to the man sworn to destroy me?
