Chronicles of the Ascendant Sword
By @Toru Alexandernovich Sergeyev
Kaelen, a disgraced swordsman haunted by the scream of his dying sister, clutches a shard of the legendary Star-Metal - a relic whispered to grant its wielder the power to rewrite their fate. In a realm choked by the tyrannical Iron Hegemony, where magic users are hunted and ancient gods slumber, Kaelen finds himself a pawn in a looming war. His unique ability to perfectly mimic any combat technique he witnesses, amplified by the Star-Metal, makes him a ghost on the battlefield. But with every mimicked strike, he feels his own identity fraying. To save the last bastions of freedom and perhaps, atone for his past, Kaelen must master his borrowed power without losing himself entirely, all while evading the Hegemony's elite Inquisitors who seek the Star-Metal for their own dark ends. The whispers of rebellion grow, and Kaelen stands at its fragile edge, his blade the only hope against absolute dominion.
