Sowing My Stolen Ruin
By @john1208
Gathered around Patriarch Vash’s deathbed, Taphath weeps, claiming a divine vision to swap the family’s marriage contracts. She demands the brilliant Dr. Ashmar, leaving her illegitimate sister Zirra with Kaddis - a penniless farmer blamed for a spreading agricultural blight. Taphath smugly knows the future: Ashmar will soon invent a miracle cure and become the city's richest man, while Kaddis is destined to die in a devastating fire of his own making. But Zirra is perfectly fine with this trade. Masking her cold, calculated revenge behind a shameless and cheeky grin, Zirra intercepts Kaddis just as he is about to burn his contaminated fields in despair. Through alternating perspectives, we watch Zirra and Kaddis uncover a massive conspiracy: the mysterious plague affecting the citizens and the toxin ruining Kaddis’s farm are the exact same plotline. By stopping the fire and fixing the soil, they cultivate the true cure, turning the destitute farmer into a botanical billionaire. Meanwhile, Taphath blindly bankrupts herself funding Ashmar’s fraudulent, toxic remedies. Will Zirra's newfound empire crush her sister before the rot consumes the city?
